I lost my garage remote. Is my house at risk?
It can be, especially with an older opener. We reset the opener's codes and re-pair only your current remotes, which instantly makes the lost one useless.
Can you program a universal remote to any opener?
Almost always. Universal remotes cover the major brands and rolling-code systems. On very old or unusual openers we will tell you upfront if a brand-specific remote is needed.
How do I reset a garage keypad code I do not know?
Every opener has a learn button that clears stored codes so a new PIN can be set. We handle it during a visit, along with adding any remotes or vehicle buttons you want paired.
